Шведский автопроизводитель первым в мире начал серийное производство автомобильного гаджета, который препятствует запуску двигателя пьяным водителем. С сегодняшнего дня в Европе начались продажи прибора Volvo Alcoguard, напоминающего по форме обычный мобильник. Принцип действия устройства стоимостью 850 евро прост: водитель выдыхает в трубочку, и в зависимости от содержания паров алкоголя в выдыхаемом воздухе загорается тот или иной светодиодный сигнал. Зеленый цвет означает, что старт разрешен, желтый – старт разрешен, но нежелателен, а красный блокирует старт двигателя. При блокировке повторить тест электроника позволит не раньше, чем через полчаса. Информация об уровне трезвости водителя высвечивается и на информационном дисплее...
